Romeos friends, Benvolio and Mercutio, were walking through the streets of Verona, when they were met by a party of the Capulets with the dying(predicate) Tybalt at their head. Mercutio , who didnt make do of Romeos secret motive for desiring peace with Tybalt, looked upon his present forbearance with many disdainful words provoked Tybalt. And this carried him to his first quarrel with Tybalt. Mercutio and Tybalt fought, till Mercutio fell. Mercutio died, and Romeo unplowed his temper no longer. He turned to Tybalt and they fought till Tybalt was slain by Romeo. Soon after arrived the prince, Benvolio, who had been eyewitness to the fray, was commanded by the prince to relate the counterbalance of it the crime. He told everything as he could without injuring Romeo.
